Today is Friday (February 21), the day of 'Greater February 21, Language Martyrdom Day and International Mother Language Day'. On the occasion of the United Nations, the day will be celebrated in appropriate dignity to commemorate language martyrs all over Bangladesh, including Bangladesh.

The United Nations Education, Science and Culture Organization (UNESCO) has been celebrating the International Mother Language Day for the past few years since recognizing the International Mother Language Day in honor of the great Ekushey.

The nation will pay homage to the great martyrs of Ekushey through various programs including floral offerings at the central Shaheed Minar altar in Dhaka and discussions at various places.

People of various classes and professions, including Awami League, BNP, Jatiya Party, various political parties, government-private organizations, social voluntary organizations, have announced detailed programs.
